Me Talk Pretty One Day
Well, this story was different from what I thought it'd be. I thought it'd be about unfortunate kids in the south; not an american struggling with French class. Although most reading bores me, I managed to keep my focus on this one. I noticed some simularities in David's struggle to learn French and be accepted by his teacher and the struggle a young boy or girl might have when entering a new school or society. I like the quote, "I knew my fear was getting the best of me when I started wondering why they don't sell cuts of meat in vending machines." It shows some comedy that both the reader and the author realises. I don't know what else to say, so I'll end here.
